Description: The Purse: Street scenes of market, lots of people and traders. (Fishmonger, barker, greengrocer and street preacher). Woman drops purse which is found by a young school boy. He hands it to his mother who rewards him by buying him a toffee-apple. The Weekend: Secretary is seduced by boss and has an affair, overnight stay at hotel as Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Boss's wife finds out and commits suicide; secretary resists boss's further advances and lashes out with stapler and inadvertently kills him. She is the arrested by the police. Shots of park bench lunch, smart restaurant, office interior and exterior. Domestic interior of boss's front room. Spinning newspaper headlines. "The Anniversary": Husband and wife at breakfast, wedding anniversary card arrives in the post, husband appears to have forgotten and complains of holes in handkerchief. Husband goes off to work and wife goes shopping and buys handkerchiefs and thinks about buying some perfume. Husband arrives home and wife gives him her present , he smiles and gives her his present which turns out to be perfume. Shots of domestic interior and exterior, shot of street and garden.
