This section sets out the terms and conditions that apply to your use of the London’s Screen Archives website (our ‘Website’) and constitute a legal agreement between you and Film London Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 04699825) whose registered office is at The Arts Building, Morris Place, London N4 3JG. 

By using our Website, whether as a guest or a registered user, you are confirming that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and in consideration of our allowing you to use our Website, agree to be legally bound by them. Film London may amend these terms and conditions at any time in its discretion and will display the revised terms in this section of the Website. 

If you do not agree to comply with these terms and conditions or any amendments to them, please stop using our Website immediately. 

Access to our Website 

Our Website consists of a wide range of information about screen heritage in London. The Website is constantly reviewed and refreshed as we seek to provide you with the most up to date information. Access to our Website is permitted at our discretion on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw access to our Website at any time. We will not be liable to you in any way if our Website becomes unavailable. 

When using our Website (including any message boards or members’ area), you must comply at all times with our Acceptable Use Policy

We own or have the right to use all intellectual property rights in our Website and the content published or made available on our Website. Our Website and the content on it is subject to and protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. All of our rights in and to the Website our reserved.

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the terms under which you may use the member areas of our Website, including message boards or other areas which allow you to post or upload material. By using such areas, you agree to abide by our policy as set out below, which is supplemental to our Website Terms of Use. 

Use of Member Areas 

We expect people who use our Website to behave in a polite, courteous and sensible way. Our member areas are subject to moderation, and we will all message to ensure that members comply with this policy.

You may not use our Website:

  • For illegal purposes or in any way that breaches any law or regulation;
  • For the purposes of committing or participating in any fraudulent activity;
  • For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way;

We shall be responsible for determining (in our discretion) if you have breached this policy through your use of the Website. Breach of this policy constitutes a breach of our Website Terms of Use. If you breach this policy, we may take such action as we deem appropriate, which may include:
