Film London Lodestars: LSA Films 2021
Film London Lodestars honours the bright futures of innovative filmmakers, creatives and craftspeople from across the capital each year. Our Lodestars are selected each year from hundreds of people and organisations spanning the varied initiatives of Film London and Games London, including filmmakers, heads of department, craftspeople, performers, programmers, exhibitors, archives, and games creators who have worked with the capital’s screen agency over the previous three years.
In the London’s Screen Archives (LSA) category we’re celebrating our LSA partners and their extraordinary moving image collections shared each Thursday via the LSA Film of the Week on Twitter @film_london.
We selected 6 films from the previous Film of the Week over the past year and asked the public to vote for their favourite film.
The six films are: Notting Hill Carnival from Vestry House Museum; Looking after Londoners from the London Metropolitan Archives; Market Futures from Hackney Archives; Looking for Sierra Leone from Southwark Archives; Sun A Shine, Rain A Fall from the Black Cultural Archives; and Perchance from Redbridge Museum and Heritage Centre.
