Summary: If you've ever owned a Fiesta and loved it, this programme is definitely for you! Since the very first rolled off the production line in 1976, it has provided fun for thousands of drivers. From debut to today, this programme delivers a comprehensive history of this super-mini.

Ford was one of the last companies to break into the small-car market, but it was determined to be the best. The Fiesta was designed to provide car buyers with a small car that promised style, safety, and reliability at low cost - and it definitely delivered!

This small but perfectly formed motor was designed and built internationally to ensure a worldwide appeal. This programme follows the Fiesta story from the birth of a concept to the finished product using detailed original footage of the design and fabrication process, featuring in-factory shots from Ford headquarters and plants in Valencia, Bordeaux, and Dagenham. Special features include original advertising and its first appearance at international motor shows.

Back to the present, we get a bit more unconventional and visit a motor show to interview owners and enthusiasts of Fiestas with crazy body kits, alloys and even nitrous oxide systems! We also take a trip to the circuit to see the speedy XR2, the Fiesta Si and the 1400 and 1800 Zetec models in action at a BRSCC Ford Championship event. Plus, we test the brand new Fiesta to the limit on the Anglesey roads.

Driving a Fiesta is all about fun, and so is this programme! We cover every model from conventional to crazy and meet owners who are downright mad about their cars!
