Description: Captured by a teacher at the school, this video shows the special assembly held by the children and teachers of Longlands Primary School in Bexley, which first opened its doors in 1905. Special guests have pride of place at the front, and children and teachers dress up in a range of both historic and futuristic costumes to tell the story of the school, through song and drama. The head teacher explains why the date and event are so important to the school and the assembly ends with an old fashioned sing-song, which some of the teachers join in with at the front of the stage.
