Summary: New and continuing development in the design of artificial limbs has resulted in a limb with everything except the socket coming 'off the peg'. The benefit to the wearer is a speedier fitting service and quicker replacement of worn parts. The latest system will soon be available throughout the UK's 80 limb-fitting centres. This film shows 12 people who have all been fitted with modular limbs and explains how the legs were constructed and tested at the Roehampton Limb Fitting Centre. 3 segments.
