Summary: Professor Black and Professor Wyllie discuss the new drugs, histamine H2-receptor antagnoists. They focus particularly on their effects on gastric secretion in health and disease. Wylie talks about metiamide and cimetidine, two of the best-known of the drugs. Black gives a synposis for classification with regard to the properties of the two drugs. 6 segments.
