or the people or places in it.

On 30 December 2018, John Ellis said:
The drummer in the orchestra is Michael Laine who went on to become a bass and drums player in some of the larger orchestras. Also in the fourth Erith scout group which is where I knew him.
On 1 April 2018, Jacqui Hammond said:
My dad, David Aves, is one of the boys doing the book-binding. What fantastic footage! His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are enthralled by it! Amazing!
On 18 February 2018, Felicity said:
My parents Gordon and Lee Luxton both taught at the boys and girls school respectively. My grandmother Olive Crombie was the secretary at the girls school.
On 25 October 2017, John Wildey said:
I went to Northumberland Heath from 1952 to 1955.
Remember the weightlifter Mr. Weltman who lifted over
300lbs above his head. Fred Sparkes the music teacher,
I recognised Alan Styles ( on saxophone?) Michael Lang on the drums and quite a few of the teachers.
On 20 August 2017, John Mulliss said:
Just brouseing the internet for "Northumberland Heath"
and saw this link for the school, I attended from 1956 until 1960.
I remember well Mr Pardey and Pat Price the PE teacher.
Most surprising is the clip regarding the school orchestra
showing my dear brother Bill Mulliss. He sadly passed away almost a year ago aged 74. He is the cellist just in front of the camera.
For me this site has brought happy memories flooding back.
A big thank you!!
On 22 July 2017, Rod Holloway said:
I attended this school 1955-59 and remember Mr "Peanut" Pardy the headmaster, Mr Sparks the music teacher, and Mr Price the sports master. Also, Mr Morley Rhys who was my form master for a number of years - great man! Great too see the buildings as they were - very fond memories of my time there.
On 5 May 2017, Ron Pitcher said:
I attended this school 1962-67, I remember Mr Pardy (Peanut) and Mr Price. I was really delighted to see the buildings both outside and inside. The staff were excellent and the education provided me with a successful career in gpo /bt for 45 years. Just wish I could thank them.
On 30 January 2017, Geoff Plastow said:
This is incredible. I had no idea this film existed.I left the school in 1954 and certainly remember the Head Mr Pardy and the Music Master Mr Sparks. I played cricket for Kent at this time and am desperately trying to recognise myself in the film. Such a pity that all this has now gone
On 9 June 2016, Ralph cooper said:

On 24 March 2016, Dave Graves said:
'54 - a bit before my time (as I served sentence here between '59-'64) so like Roger I had no idea the film even existed let alone who mad it - sorry I cant help, but my god does it bring back memories!!!
Mr Pardey was Headmaster during my stay, but I don't recall a Mr Sparks, perhaps he has moved on by the time I arrived, but I do clearly remember Mr Price, strict but fair - if you got a thump you deserved it.
I had a lot of time and respect for him. If some of the to-days youngsters had a teacher like Pricey I am sure we would have far fewer social problems.
On 24 January 2016, Roger Kilner said:
I was a pupil at Northumberland Heath Secondary Boys School from 1953 to 1957 so this marvellous film really is my era. I’ve never seen it before so this is the first time I’ve seen the people and buildings in 58 years! I certainly recognise Mr Pardey, my headmaster, as well as Mr Sparks the music master and Mr Pat Price the gym and sports master. I don’t remember the film being made so I don’t know who we have to thank.
